"JR" Joe Restifo is a clown (as most airline managers / chief pilots are). Face the fact that all of us "new hires" (many of us - including myself - 2000+ hour pilots) are not in good shape. As a matter of fact, no pilot is in this economy is. Mesaba thought that we were untouchable in these airline times (last 18 months), and HELLO!!~! we are. I think that this is just the beginning (3 airline guy here. 2 furlough guy here, P*ssed guy here ) of a new storm of tough luck in the biz. Delta might realign along the lines of who is the best (least cost) and we may all find ourselves (new hires, last 18 months) in a real sticky place.
