That was when AT was accepting 9-12 A/C per year and growing at 20% per year. 2 737's for 2009 and no further deliveries scheduled until 4Q '11/1Q '12. Upgrades now only due to attrition. Also, lots of Union vs. Management strife at AT now. I think most AT folks would agree QOL has suffered greatly in the last two years and morale is very low.

On the recent issue, I support the call of the flight crew 100% to remove them from the flight. Where AT made a huge mistake was not immediately putting them on another flight (business class) once the FBI cleared them. That you can credit to the Customer Service reps in DCA who are not allowed to think for themselves.
I agree, the crew did exactly what they're supposed to do. Bad thinking afterwards for sure knowing how hungry for blood the ACLU lawyers are...
