Thanks for the reply. I was an idiot 20 years ago and didn't get the mongomery G.I. bill. I am still active duty right now. The new 9/11 G.I. bill, everyone gets so I am trying to see if it will cover flight training.
My understanding is that the new MGIB will NOT cover flight training of any sort, or ANY other votech training (trucking, welding, etc). Congress decided to focus on higher education vice job skills.
Does anyone have a different read on this?
The old GI MGIB can still be used for flight training by those eligible.
