This statement is spot on. I feel that with this furlough there will be more open time to pick up and all the senior guys will be elated! Many come right out and say that we need to furlough because they can't get any open time. They over extend themselves financially and need 1200 hours of credit to survive. What we need is some better pilot unity across ALL of the DCI carriers.
I feel like the union has dropped the ball on this one. 80 furloughs is BS. WE SPEND TENS OF MILLIONS HAVING TWO MANAGEMENTS. But still ASA furloughs to save a few million.
