I don't know if it was good news. The Comair fun bus (management) came by the SOCC last night for a meeting. Maint department is looking to cut an additional 15-20%. We are currently staffed for 140 aircraft and here it comes.......we're going down to 100. DCI was here for a meeting a few days ago and it was pretty much put out that all 50 seaters in the DCI system are going to be toast.
Man..... bad news to me. I know a guy who's trying to transfer over to MX, has his A&P and with these cuts, I guess he just had massive amounts of sunshine blown up his butt. Why are they advertising for MX on the Comair careers program if they looking to get rid of folks?
