I forgot to ad the link on my first post. I did a google search to see if Southern Cross Aviation was still around after these 18years since I worked for them.
Welcome to Southern Cross Aviation
Do some searching on Trade a plane and any other aviation sources for ferrying. Its pretty challenging to break into. THey like very experienced pilots for the long overwater flights for obvious reasons. At 1500 hrs. I was pretty green for their pref. but I was available and showed my face regularly.
The biggest mistake I made was not calling them up as soon as I delivered the plane. I assumed the buyer would and didn't have orders to do that. They were a little peezed that I didn't call home directly. Whatever. I went back to my MetroLiner job and on to Continental/Rocky Mountain a year later. A better path to a major cargo carrier.
