The MPD program will promise you an interview when you complete the course. This doesn't amount to much since the airline isn't hiring and they have pilots on furlough.
It's an expensive course which in the end doesn't give you a job at the end of it, of course not many do.
The FBO route is a lot cheaper albeit longer.
My advise is to reconsider your move in becoming a pilot right now, wait until it looks like things will improve for pilot hiring and pay scales.
