Well, post the article then. Just because a company owns options on new a/c does not mean they can violate DAL scope. There is quite a bit of room for growth in DCI for a/c up to 70 seats but not 71 to 76. I guess it depends on if DAL wants to put CRJ-900s or E-175s in service with only 70 seats and then reconfigure them when scope allows. I don't think 405PA was being negative, I think that more DCI aircraft is a negative.
You really need to learn to read the entire progression of the post before jumping the gun. My post clearly stated that I wasn't sure about the numbers. If I had the articles, I would have posted it and clearly stated as such.
Never said getting more aircraft at regionals is a good thing. I was responding to someone who asked me if there were more aircraft out there in the DAL system for bidding.
I am one of the many who wants to get hired by a major. I certainly do not plan on being a regional lifer. I do hope DAL and other majors will expand their mainline fleet so there will be hiring instead of furloughing but right now it seems unlikely majors will be hiring anytime soon.
