You obviously had a long career at FDX. I have had only a short one, but I think I have picked up on the current way of doing business. Don't forget we are the company that ran a useless excess bid in the 727 SO seat just to get 50 back up front (JL?) and displaced some junior 727 CAs to FO seats. There were even complaints about how some of these junior CAs 'gamed the system' to work HKG CA passover pay out of that bid or the one before it. No empathy at all for the loss of seat due to a quasi legal bid.
I've seen pay protections used elsewhere but can't see it used here. They just don't think that way.
