Two very different programs here. All things considered, I think this is a very solid offer from a regional airline that doesn't have to do ANYTHING if they don't want to.

To a captain holding a crappy line that has a fairly lucrative side job and a wife with a stable job, this is most definitely something attractive. Different people are in different situations. A ton of us on here are FOs with 5 YOS or less, of course it doesn't make sense to us.

We'll just have to wait and see where it goes. Regardless guys, just remember, any little bit helps. As a very wise sensei of mine said "it loosens the belt".
