I live on at 66th and Riverside in Manhattan. Did not see it go in but saw it floating just after it happened. My apt looks over the Hudson on the 8th floor so it would have been at my height when it went by. I did not hear anything.
Nice job on the ditching. Plane stayed intact. Water temp upper 30's air temp teens so not much time in the water before hypothermia sets in.

Flew P3's so practiced ditching a lot. FedEx pilot now.
