My only point here was I don't think a public forum is the place to discuss specific points that may or may not have been causal factors to a mishap. Is it a ready room discussion, surely it is Gump, that said, this isn't a ready room IMHO.

Imagine the young Marine's parents reading a thread on how their son died before an investigation was complete.
First - let's not let this thread go down the road of the regular regional thread - both of you. Enough with the "lighten up" and the "OK Francis". You know both of those comments are just poking someone in the eye and meant to escalate.

There is nothing in the post that the parents don't already know. The is no priviledged information released. It is suppose to be professional pilots discussing publicly released information. There are certainly some things that shouldn't be discussed initially - I don't think this meets the criteria - others will disagree.

If a couple of military aviators can't discuss (or disagree) with some information then we are surely in trouble. Don't let this thread (or forum) look or sound like the Regionals please. Btw - I would like to think of this forum as our virtual ready room - with some constraints!
