In all my years at some other airlines, -yes even at Mesa-, I have never seen such a desdain for the rank and file as I have seen here. Not including the new pres -since we don't know much about him yet-, all the other folks have absolutely no desire to help the people that keep them employed. Granted when Comair folds -it's just a matter of time before it is "integrated" into another company-, they will land on their feet by either some sort of golden parachute and/or a new position at a company under the "Delta family". But the fact remains, they'd rather close shop -without a fight- than try to help. I wish you all luck. I have long decided I will not be coming back here, unless it is my only option left. And even that is far fetched.
