Don’t even get me started on the gate agents at JFK that work the Delta connection gates. They are the worst ever. They try to everything possible not to get you on a flight. Gate 23 and 25 at JFK treat our passengers like dirt. I was waiting to deadhead at the gate for an hour because flights are delayed and cancelled due to lack of crews and weather. The gate agents kept ignoring the passangers and they would not answer any of their questions. I felt so bad and embarrassed I had to go talk to the passengers along with the captain and a couple of flight attendants. Agents that work gate 23 and 25 should not be in this business. They have no clue what customer service means. I have also had several issues with them trying to get on flights to commute home. That is not the norm at other gates at JFK, the Delta gate agents usually try to be as helpful as they could considering the circumstances the working conditions at JFK. So, to all you gate agents the refuse to help you fellow employees, what goes around comes around.
