All pilots must maintain their currency. They are permitted to go in During the 36 hour window and request trips under AFB Association Fly back, assuming they have been removed from trips in the first place.

They still get paid what their awarded line pays........plus any per diem Intl overide they rate.

Hope that answers your question. Now if these trips are other than AFB or MU.....that is another story.
