I do not think there is a double standard here. The guys that have been highlighted here for the most part have picked up, voluntarily, trips that are disputed or others have knowledge that they were drafting for. Guys are careful to check schedules and make sure the assignment looks legit or not.
In the case of this Union leader, we do not know how he got the trips. They could be AFB.MUS etc. I think what others are saying it is not a dispute or a trip they were drafting for, so lets get the facts and then decide whether or not this guy is team player.
