I flew one last week. Over 3 years ago when I was a new hire, we each got our own rooms as well.
I'm going to have to throw the you-know-what flag on this one...I was there over three years ago, doing those LAS standups, and we did NOT get our own hotel rooms, or any hotel room at all.
I have no idea what the deal is nowdays, but I'm not sure I would take your word for it based the above quoted misstatement of fact.
