I'm not defending Gojet or Mesa, but I think the problem is a lack of education. Most people who are looking for a regional job don't know all the history and facts about different regionals. They just know they want to fly a jet. Maybe some do, but the difference in having a job with the hopes of moving on, or not having one and staying in a 152 can be a hard sell to anyone.

 

I do not recall GoJets causing any company to go out of business using information obtain illegally and predatory pricing. There is a difference between being competitive and using illegal practices. JO needs to go back to jail.

If you've forgotten, about a year ago, several members here "undressed" you on these boards. You responded with nothing but personal insults (striking resemblance to your above post), and were subsequently banned from the site.

What you've done (above) is attempt to turn around this situation on me. I have done nothing but post fact about Mesa, and defend my fellow pilots against guys like you who claim that we are unsafe, sub par, and the worst in the industry. I think you would get the same response from anyone after you labeled their pilots as such.

Trust me, the mods here are not my friends. I have received numerous warnings and violations here over the past year. They are simply doing their job, again, and policing someone who posts flame bait and insults (see your above post).

Play the victim all you want, but I would be willing to bet that the harassment from the mods will continue as long as you insult me and others on these boards.

I can't even remember what this thread was supposed to be about as it has taken a deviation and has clearly turned into another one of the many "bash Mesa" threads out there. It's unecessary and no edification re: Mesa's restructuring of its bonds has been gained. There's no substance and only paltry bickering back and forth, largely instigated by a half-century old individual who harbors some ill-will towards a former employer.

This site is starting to look more and more like the Jerry Springer Show For Pilots.

For those who think that there is a double standard for mesa-bashing, that is not the case. The mods cannot read every post, if you see a post which violates the TOS, use the flag icon to bring it to the moderator's attention.

Keep in mind that it's OK to air legit issues, there is no rule that you cannot point out an airline's shortcoming...that is merely communication. You just need to be factual and reasonably civil.
