I have nothing against Mesa pilots, but the horrible flaming demise of that ignorant ba$t@rd JO and his cronies would be a big step in the right direction for the whole industry.

Exactly. There is no place for the second coming of Lorenzo. He even managed to fool everyone in 08 with the TA.

yeah even though it was a big improvement they still should've wanted more. then again I wasn't sitting there during those negotiations, so I really can't speak to what was and was not possible

You're going to disagree with me, and that's just fine. You might even get to give me a warning, or better yet ban me, and keep your squad of flamebait warriors close by your side.

You're experience at Mesa, some 6-8 years ago, does not even border on accurate any longer. You pollute threads that concern Mesa with your ancient experiences, and these false tales only drive the 18-21 year old pilots in the industry (who couldn't drive when you were at Mesa) to wish ill on myself and my fellow pilots.

Stick to the threads about how Skywest changed your life, unions are worthless, experiencing a mid-life crisis at the regionals, and other such topics that you can further the spread of information via your opinions, rather than creating an army of young men who know no better than to will another airline out of business.
If I'm not moderating, I can participate in the forums under the same rules as everyone else. I won't moderate you just because you disagree with me

I have friends still at mesa, nothing has changed for the better.

I can objectively compare mesa with several large companies and one other airline. The way they treat people is simply unbelievable for most folks who haven't experienced it...THAT KIND OF CRAP DOES NOT HAPPEN IN THE REAL WORLD!

It doesn't matter what other airline pilots think, but I am happy to attempt to educate entry-level pilots about mag.

I probably lose some objectivity when mag pilots attempt to justify or apologize for mesa...that sort of rationalization is the mindset which allows OJ to do what he does best. Hell, I even did it myself at one point...I convinced myself that all the shortcomings would be fixed at the next contract. Eventually I lost confidence in the majority of mag pilots. I was afraid they wouldn't stand up for themselves in negotiations...Boy am I glad I didn't stick around three years for THAT

Muushin-

I have trouble understanding your reasoning behind posting about how terrible our pilots are, when you didn't have what it took to complete training here less than 3 years ago.

I find it ironic, and you're making yourself look worse by doing it.

Aww is someone regretting taking a shortcut in their career and screwing everyone else over by lowering the pathetic regional bar even lower by working for Mesa?

Where's the crying rolly face?

Save the logic on these people brother. They have little interest in the facts and shallow lives. I am done with this rag.

Forgive me for asking I'm not trying to flame here but what is a "camping trip"?

It's ok, you will find another job too just like all the folks who Mesa management screwed over that had to find other jobs when their companies could not compete with sleezey bottom of the barrel business tactics.

Starting over from the bottom sucks. It sucks even more when the bottom keeps getting lower because of one bunch of management, and a spineless majority of a pilot group accepting all the kool-aide fed to them.

No hotel rooms. Crews forced to sleep in their planes on short overnights. Yes you heard it correct. There are people that think this is perfectly ok to do to their own workers.
