99% of the pilots I have talked to at Mesa/Freedom have always stated that "they went there for the fast upgrade" not because it was a good company to work for. If you are in fact the 1% who works for MAG because it is convenient to your home base, I wish you the best with your employer.

"Paxhauler85, your holier-than-thou attitude is so ridiculously pompous it makes me want to slap you."
Mod note:
Let's keep it respectable. He's got his opinion, based on his experience, and you have yours. No reason for flamebait or personal attacks....

Pompous describes a lot of people who post here, but I'm not one of them.
Slap me? Are you one of the 18-21 year olds I was talking about earlier, or do you just act like one?

The only thing more disgusting than the Mesa uneducated workforce, handpicked from the local unemployment agencies and local WalMarts, and how they were so in your face obvious that they are trying to violate your rights as a pilot and human being, were the pilots who worshiped at JOs altar and did his bidding. I have zero sympathy for whatever happens to the place. Some of the things I have experienced were in no doubt on par with what workers are subject to in 3rd world countries or communist regimes. That's probably the only thing I miss about Mesa, dealing with all the morons that make up that company. Now that I know a thing or two about the airlines, I could have had a little more fun with them. As far as pilots. I have no doubt many are good people there, including paxhauler, but you can't tell me that the pilots have nothing to do with the continuation of the damage that Jonathan Ornstein has caused to the airline business for the last decade even after two chances. I have zero sympathy, they knew what they were getting themselves into when Mesa was the only airline that would hire them. What a disaster of an airline.

In response to another post:
Yes there were CD lines out of PHX (LAS) awhile back that did not offer a hotel. The rest period between evening flight and morning was kept less then 3 or 4 hrs. If it had been more the company was required to give hotel accom's according to the contract. This practice came to a screeching hault after a TV newscast "expose" on the matter.
Some have fanned the flames of Mesa animosity as if it were their personal vendetta. Some of said folks are former Mesa pilots (you know who you are) go figure.

You, too, knew exactly what you were getting into. You seemed to have no trouble making the change from TSA to GoJets.
You're also too big of a coward to list your GoJets job in your "position."
