It will be quite some time before Delta and the Port Authority build a new terminal. Delta will continue just to slap duct tape and bandaids on the this terminal at JFK for AT LEAST another 10 years.
Look how poorly the decision to close concourse C in CVG worked out. From a roomy, fairly modern terminal to a cramped, small terminal, where the passengers still don't get jetbridges.
