I remember reading that UPS would like to do more CRAF work, but doesn't have enough crew members signed up. The myth that the company can't get mil contracts is just that, a MYTH. The DoD doesn't give a rat's patoot about how many people volunteer for the CRAF. (these contracts are NOT CRAF. They are straight mil contracts.) The only thing that determines OOPS' eligibility to bid on the AMC contracts is how many aircraft we have pledged to the various stages of the CRAF. Remember that if you volunteer for the CRAF you have waived important parts of the contract. Volunteer if you want, by all means, but don't think its going to make any difference how much AMC flying we do.
