73,
One of the things that I don't like about UPS is the amount of resentment some of the pilot group has about working here. It can be argued till the cow's come home that UPS is one of the better jobs out there..opinions vary. Put in other terms, I don't like working somewhere where people hate coming to work.
You mentioned only meeting a few bitter ex TWA-ers. My opinion differs, the TWA-ers on the property won't be the bitter ones, the trouble makers will be those that have been raking leaves for the last 5-7 years that went from narrow body Capt, or senior widebody F/O to the unemployment line. I know it is not possible but try to put yourself in their shoes, and not make the comment of "be lucky your on the AA seniority list, albeit furloughed".
I know your opinion differs, and that's fine. I'm not here to throw stones.
I hear many NAAtives are heralding the battle cry of self-help, strike, etc. My question is, during self help, who is going to blink first, I get the impression that AMR is supposed to blink first, what if they do not.
Just curious, not trying to incite a riot.
