I like the joke, but since JFK is a "hub", it is not uncommon for most of the aircraft to RON at an outstation and operate the first flight out in the morning back to JFK. I wouldn't read anything into it....
Really didn't read anything into it, and since it was a Saturday (with less flights), you can expect less planes. It was just funny when she called and said that they were the only plane in the whole place.
She was returning to JFK from CVG, so I told her "Well, you saw all the planes parked in CVG, so you know where all of our planes are"
