Look at all the regionals. Most have people on furlough and picking up open time is tough. Not too mention your fellow pilots won't like it. So to turn $28/hr into $50k isn't going to happen. $28/hr is hard to turn into $28,000.

If you are in your early 20's then maybe do this job. Otherwise go to school, get a degree and spend time with your friends and familly. Living life in a cheap hotel on the outskirts of some crappy small town is no way to spend your life. The only reason people are doing this job is because they are in too deep. If you have spend less than $20k on your ratings then get out. Don't do it. Run. Become a dentist.
