I stay in PHX a lot and there is a studio 6 extended stay right close to the airport. They don't give an airline discount but they are pretty cheap about 45$ a night or 250$ a week. They all have kitchens so you can cook food if you prefer. It is in a decent area and I have never had any scum staying there when I was there.
