******HAPPY ANNYVERSARY******
Today is my 3rd month since I was furlough (Nov 05). 3 months of nothing but blissful NOTHING.
I have Comair to thank for all the things that have happened to my family and me since. The slight depression at the beginning, the overeating, the lack of eating, the dreams and nightmares, the arguments with the wife, the overwhelming crapy feelings that engulf my sense of responsibility, providership, and my capacity as a role model.
Comair, thank you for the lack of intersted in trying to solve this situation before it happened (to be shared with ALPA also), and thank you for your ability to show any care since this happened. I also do appreciate how we were discarded at the worst possible time in this current economy (it not being your fault), were finding gainful employment is near impossible, even though one may be willing to subjugate self to any job -regardless of how demeaning it may look like-. Which, brings me to another thank you Comair. I'm speaking for myself here, but thanks for helping me find that "new level" of comfort a person has buried inside, and use it to muster courage in order to do the things one has to do to survive.
There are sooooo many other ways I'd like to thank you -COMAIR, and in some way, ALPA-, that I'm sure by the time the 6 months anniversary comes, I'll be able to clean up the language in order to print it here.
Thank you again, and go 3825 yourself!.
To all my brothers and sisters from Oct 05 and Nov 05!.
