What has gone on here that doesn't go on at other companies? I'm not saying this is a great place to work by any stretch of the means (if it was I wouldn't be getting ready to leave), but to say the treatment of its employees is newsworthy is a bit much.
I've worked a lot of jobs... not as a pilot, and I wouldn't call this a horrible or newsworthy job at all. This job is what you make of it. You can make yourself miserable every minute of your time at work, or chose to be optimistic. The fact is it's not nearly as bad of a place as many people make it.
In fact if we as employees actually acted like we gave a crap we might not be in the sad state we are. I've never worked somewhere where people are so negative and lazy.
