If every jumpseat is taken 12 days out, I'll keep checking it every day to see if any of the Priority 3 folks cancel or get removed by the company for whatever reason. So far, I've always had at least one of the Pri 3 riders disappear off the list, and I've been able to list. If it comes to commute day, and there are still no openings on the ONT-ANC flight, I'll still drive up to ONT having listed on the BFI flight as a back up. I'll ask if anybody has cancelled off the ANC flight one last time before I go to BFI instead (the two flights leave within 5 min of each other). After arrival in BFI, it's a cab ride to SEA, then I have to roll the dice with Alaska Airlines.

As a sidenote....I have been listed on the jumpseat 12 days out only to be bumped multiple times by Pri 3 riders. You get absolutely no warning of this, and you must really watch the jumpseat list every day to see if you're still listed. On my last commute to ANC, I got bumped twice, and was finally able to list (for the third time) to remain on the list.

Ah....the life of a commuter.
I have been bumped off the list by the phantom "MAP" J/Sers...only to find out that the "MAP" never showed up, after the fact.
