The idiots that manage the ATC side of the FAA are the biggest bunch of incompetent boobs I've ever seen (25 years as controller, retired May 08 on the day I was illegible.) The FAA uses the "Cess Pool theory of management." The turds float to the top! You may think that the money will make up for the bad management but you will tire of that quickly. I was at Ft. Worth center and it sucked big time. I made $160k+ and walked away from that. My retirement is half that amount so now I can afford to fly for a "non-living." Good luck!!!!!
