I have a handful of traps on CV-63, mostly FRS CQ and whatnot. I remember sitting aft of the island watching others trap while waiting my turn to go when everything on the ship went dark. At first I thought they turned off the lens and landing area lights because we were turning downwind or something, but when I looked up at the tower and saw flashlight beams I figured something was amiss. A few minutes later, all the power came back on. Guess somebody leaned up against the Big Light Switch.
