At companies like Pinnacle, United and Mesa - are the board members even alive? It's amazing what happens with the respective company and the board just keeps giving the thumbs up.

I suppose in today's enviroment, airline CEO's only lose their job if they physically close the doors with bankruptcy. Anything above that is fully approved by the board.
