I read it the way Boomer does. 5700-2600=3100. It should have been worded something along the lines of "as early as this fall, 2,600 of our employees will become RHS employees."
I kinda see what Bendo is talking about, with regards to seeing what our direct costs are... We have all of this ground equipment and gate/ground employees and other DCI carriers use this equipment for a fraction of what it costs us to purchase and use. I asked one of the Chiefs in recurrent in January whether or not this is taken into account during Delta's decision to award flying based on "cost structure" and he had no idea but thought "probably not." Who knows?
