There should not be any 121 carrier aircraft operating in this country with boots. The FAA and the manufactures both know there are problems with these systems, yet they want to continue to blame the pilots. That's the goverement for you.
I dunno nobody mentions the 1,000's of hrs flown daily on 121 T-Props operating in Icing without incident....
