This is what I have heard as well. I also heard that they are telling the flight attendants in recurrent that they want to go from 800 FA's to 650 FA's. That combined with the number of COLA's that they are offering Captains in CVG tells me that indeed we are still way to fat for pilots.

I have heard also that with the closure of the Freedom base in JFK only 6 total Freedom aircraft will be brought to CVG in addition to whatever they already have there. I'm not buying that JB says we will be playing musical chairs with Freedom. He has pretty much already said that their base moving to CVG won't have any affect on us, and if it did I am sure he would twist it to be some sort of positive news for us just like him thinking that it is a good thing that our company just shrunk by half so now we can actually see how much we cost. If you couldn't account for our cost as an airline before, then you don't know how to do business. that was just blown smoke and many seem to have inhaled it.
