I could see the problems associated with this (type in 737). Airtran would not like it. Most other airlines may not care, unless you have actual experience flying the plane. CAL should like it. Anyone can get a type, all it takes is money. It should help. You took the time and initiative to better yourself, learn aircraft systems and spent time flying the simulator and learning the aircraft. It should be worth something, but in reality, it may not help. It's on your certificate, so you can't really hide it. You don't have to put it on your resume though. If they ask why, just tell them you didn't put it on your resume because you've never flown it, so it's not "experience". ???
