Part of the problem is a lot of these guys are not made aware of the problem with these places and how it brings down the industry
I had a flight attendant the other day mention how he is going to ATP to finish his CFI and take the "rj transition course" so he can get on flying here at Pinchanikle. He already has his comm/multi. I told him good job on getting the CFI, don't waste the 10 grand or whatever ov the "rj course" because by the time we start hiring again he will have the mins if he just CFI's for a while. He said he can get on quicker though, in the next few months, if he pays for the RJ course. He couldn't understand that we, or anywhere else for that matter, aren't hiring, so the rj course would do him no good......."but the school told me I would be hired at Pinnacle very soon if I take the course" he says.
