If we are waiting for the upper echelon of the seniority list to stand strong on this, it ain't gonna happen. They have enough control to exercise seniority to protect their historical income. It's the middle/junior masses that can stop this.
I can't pretend to know the manning of the 727, but to furlough the nuggets, they have to also get rid of the 250+ junior to them -- most of which are on the 27 I believe -- what would that do to the 727? (not to mention those in the right seat of the 757)
