I think signing for the aircraft is worth more than a quarter. To me (an FO with a good deal of PIC), a CA should make roughly double an FO. That said, I have no problem with $1.75 and $3.50, but I doubt that is realistic (a 1900 CA would make $64+K and a 744 would make $1.5 milllion +/-).
For longevity, I think 5% per year is reasonable. We can cover COL in the next contract
