Hundreds (if not thousands) of DL flights are going to be carrying the YX code, if I understand this correctly, so how is this any differen't than if YX flights carried the DL code on aircraft that exceed scope? And those aircraft could be operated by Skywest or Repubic carrying a YX code as long as there is at least one Midwest airplane still flying to maintain the certificate.
