Since being on furlough I've found a job to pay the bills and really like the company I work for. That being said "if and when" the call comes to return to flying, I will be returning to the cockpit. My question is, what kind of time is involved in a recall notice? Are you back on the property in a week/ a month? I know this is a question that can't be answered specifically, but maybe there is a "general type answer" I can get. The reason I ask is because while my company knows my situation, I'm not interested in screwing them over by not having enough time to switch my duties to someone else not prepared for the unique aspects of the job. If I had a few weeks to do this I think we'd be okay, if shorter that might be a problem. I also don't want to burn any bridges that could be helpful in a future furlough situation.
