Well, since I'm already at the top of the payscale, the awesome 17% pay raise I'm getting is being eroded by the passage of time since my last COLA raise (June 2003) of 1.5% every 18 months (which wasn't keeping up
), and my additional medical expense in the new contract, I'm actually realizing an awesome 3.47% immediately, then no pay raise for the next two years.
I guess I'm lucky we aren't filing for bankruptcy....
Not that I'm complaining about the money, somehow I'll get by with the $275k I'll make next year. What irks me is all of the international scheduling rules we GAVE away. What are we going to negotiate with next time? There's nothing left to give away.
