I don't know how recent that quote is, but I believe it was off of one of the weekly updates from Mr. B. On a side note, during the JFK-bid net-conferences, somebody on the call (mgmt) mentioned that when Delta approached Comair about picking up the extra flying, they were assured by Comair that we could pick up the additional hours with our current staffing levels.

Regardless of whether we are properly staffed or not (I don't think we ever have been properly staffed), our best chance for ANY recalls is if attrition picks up, and right now there seems to be minimal attrition, at best. Hopefully that changes as more and more people are introduced to commuting and the whole JFK experience.
