A while back, when I spoke with him, he said to feel free to email or call him any time to check in/see what's going on. I did just that, and he emailed me back yesterday. This quote was directly from his email to me. I did not post the whole email, but thought that this paragraph was of interest to others that are hoping for a recall. I really do appreciate his openness and candid replies, even if they are not what we want to hear.
It does say a lot for a CEO/President to reply to emails from employees. I have worked at places in the past where you would never expect a reply, or maybe get a "canned" reply.
