Eggs and Things is still good, very consistent. It recently moved though, a little closer to Waikiki, off Saratoga St (it's on their website).

A NEW place that someone turned me onto is a place called the Side Street Inn (Hopaka St.). It's in an alley sort of behind the Ala Moana Center. Don't be scared when you see it from the outside, it is nothing to look at...but it is GOOD. Food is served family style, like a big pu-pu platter. Big servings, so don't let the price scare you. Fried rice, pork chops, smoked pig, spicy chicken....all very good. Good drink prices too. It's a local place and was featured on No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain, plus it's where all the big name chefs hang out after work.
