The FARs don't come into place here, IMHO - the AEs are only for scheduling training. Prior to SOC, the crews can't fly together, that's all. I can't see why they can still be trained to fly other aircraft.
That is the way I see it. They can always postpone or cancel that part of the AW if the wheels fall off the bus.
Also, and DAL-S guys getting their training pushed back to June or July. I have heard that the displacement training is being pushed back a little.
