Its pointless. honestly if you were to get a recall call next week, wait out your 17 days to return, attend ground and sims, recheck, and then fly with a check airmen... you wouldn't even be line ready till what? mid to end of june? So you'll enjoy a whole 22 days off all summer (IF you can even get home-commuters) and spend the rest of your time living in a fine JFK crashpad only to be furloughed in the fall. I think I rather sit on the boat all summer and drink beer... but to each his own I suppose.
I do not feel I will be recalled this year, probably summer 2010. I was responding to an earlier post stating, "recalls were probable", per the alpa message.
