Obviously not if you look up close. But they don't look that much different. The 200 paint job looks better than the Saab because the Saab paint is old.
I will make my point more clear.

1. The 900 is flying BLUE tail flights and is the flag ship plane. They want the 900 to look really pretty in the new Delta colors. I never said the 900 paint was bad or looked old. That has nothing to do with it.

2. The Saab is flying BLUE tail flights in Florida and SC. They want the Saab to look pretty flying in the new Delta colors because of the BLUE tail flights. Also, the Saabs have old nasty pink paint.

3. The 200 is a far distant because it's NOT flying Blue tail and the paint looks relatively good. It's still shiny and in the newest NWA colors. No pink paint and no Blue tail service = NO NEW PAINT for a long time.

I don't think the paint schedule has anything to do with how long one particular airframe will be flying for Delta Connection. It has everything to do with showing off the newest paint on the "coolest newest" plane (in reference to the 900) AND AND AND it has everything to do with replacing the oldest paint on the Saabs because no one wants to have a pink plane in their fleet. Flying Blue tail routes is also a big factor. Since the 200 does NOT fit into those categories then they will be the last to be painted. I"m not sure how much more specific I can be.
