I guess that reading the TA isn't enough... you also have to read the current contract.
This LIMITS the company to 48/96 hour extensions unless the pilot agrees to a longer extension. Currently there is no such limitation. As one very senior Capt noted: "Once you block out they can extend you to age 60." They DO have to pay you for it, tho
