Just because you have it emailed to you doesn't give you the authority to release it further via email or any other means unless for "official safety reasons". It would not be inconceivable to think that you passing along an SIR could make it to the hands of the media and completely discredit the USN/USMC SIR process in terms of safety. Don't take this as a lecture but moreover, a lack of common sense.
Never said I had it on email or even a copy for that matter. Where in the hell did you read into that? I simply stated the SIR was out on a thread that had been dead for a while. Believe it or not, not everyone who is a pilot in the military knows where to find this report. I didn't, until I was apart of an accident investigation board. So...me saying, "PM me if your interested" means I will tell you where you can find it for those not in the know. Someone BS'ing about who they are would not be able to access this information.

Forums threads are posted with a lot of interpretation, that is just the way it is. If you have genuine concerns over my intentions, why not just PM me so I could make it more clear for you rather than ranting on your soap box.
